Ice Beauty Pops - HERBES FOLLES

Ice Beauty Pops

Ice beauty pops - have you came across this trend already?

If not, I tell you everything: it consists in a facial mask but in form of an ice cream. It sounds fun to do, and it actually is! You can chose to stay on the simple side of things, or use a few fancy ingredients - up to you!

How to do it?

The first thing you'll need is an ice cream mold, to fill it with your mask.

Then, the ingredients: clays, honey, yogurt, plant powders (curcuma, nettle, cinnamon, just to name a few that you can easily find).

Mix everything (if you chose clays, don't use metal spoons to mix everything, as these demineralise them), fill the ice cream molds until half and pour water (or a hydrosol of your choice) to complete it. Blend with a spoon or spatula.

Put the icy facials to freeze, and use them in the morning to wake up your skin and benefit from the ingredients of your mask. When in contact with the skin, the ice pop will melt into a delicious face mask. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, and do it 2-3 days per week (except if you use clays, then once per week or every two weeks is enough). You can have a look here and here to chose wisely ;)

Icing the face has several benefits: reduces swelling and puffiness, brightens the complexion and lessens the appearance of under-eye bags. If you add on top of that skin-loving ingredients, it will glow like never before!

You should avoid icing the skin, however, if you have thin or sensitive skin or broken capillaries, as it can cause irritation and redness.
